The sun is really beating down in Murcia this week which is great news for tourists however precautionary measures should be taken with the area now on a high temperature alert.
The Mediterranean coast of Spain has seen a rise in temperature in many locations this week. Although it can be cloudy at certain times of the day its pretty much non stop sunshine at the moment.
Murcia is posting the highest temperature at the moment at thirty seven degrees while Granada is next up at thirty four degrees. It’s quite a bit cooler in Alicante with temperatures around twenty nine degrees.
Murcia has received a yellow alert warning for high levels of heat. Remember that it takes the human body on average around three weeks to adjust to high levels of sunshine. Bring lots of sun cream preferably factor 30+ particularly if fair skinned. Children can be particularly at risk.
Enjoy the sun safely and don’t let anything spoil your holiday.
