The next few years will be something to look forward to as work has started for the planning and the construction of the new Murcia airport in Spain. This new airport should prove an advantage to the residents making it easier for owners of vacation homes in the region to get to their property and attract new investors and tourists.
Scheduled to be completed in 2010; this new airport in Murcia is going to be built to cope with increasing number of passengers at Murcia’s San Javier Airport, announced region developer Casas de Lorca.
Mike Hamilton, a spokesperson of Casas de Lorca said that the progress of the anticipated Murcia Airport is outstanding news for the region, as it will help cope with the passengers’ number at the current airport. It will make travel hassle free and more convenient for both regular tourists and new passengers using the new facilities. Murcia is an attractive destination for local owners and tourists. The region has plenty of attractive scenery, history, and good value for money. The €266m plan will add to the popularity of the region.
