Ryanair have recently announced the introduction of 14 new routes from Birmingham. The route of most interest for readers of our Murcia Airport car hire blog of course is the Birmingham airport to Murcia Airport route.
Other routes added by Ryanair include Birmingham to Malaga, Dusseldorf, Alicante, Fuerteventura, Palma, Kaunas, Katowice, Krakow, Frankfurt, Prague, Szczecin, Bologna, Derry.
This adds to the existing routes Ryanair already operate from Birmingham Airport which include Barcelona, Dublin Airport and Biarritz.
A spokeswoman for Ryanair – Laura McCormack spoke of her delight at the introduction of the new routes. She said there was high demand in the Birmingham area for low cost flights.
